Crawl Space Encapsulation-Sumerduck, VA

Challenge

This Sumerduck, VA homeowner was looking to make the mildew odors in their home go away.  Vented crawl spaces allow warm, humid air to enter during the summer months. When this warm, humid air hits cold things in the crawl space, they lower the temperature of the air and raise the humidity even more!  

This hot/humid situation allows organic materials to become mildew and mold. The odors then enter the home, making it a nasty place to live.

Solution

3 Pros Basement Systems designed a solution that encapsulates the crawl space and keeps the humidity level down, as well as lessening the mildew odors.
