A crawl space is a place that most people don't visit often, making it a likely place for a leak to go unnoticed for extended periods of time. Evan a small leak in a pipe can cost you a lot of wasted water and create an environment for mold, mildew, wood rot, and nasty odors- leading to big problems if not taken care of quickly.
This is where the SmartDrain comes in. The SmartDrain alerts homeowners to a plumbing leak with an audible alarm and drains the water away beneath your vapor barrier, preventing it from collecting in the space.
The SmartDrain is a crawl space drain that includes a bottomless liner and an airtight lid. It is installed within a drywell, that is created during the installation. A fill of clean drainage stone is used around to isolate the drain from the dirt to prevent clogging. 
Our system features a unique ball and cup drain system. When water enters the cup, the ball floats and opens the drain, sealing again when no water remains. The unique WaterWatch Alarm will sound off when the system detects water, alerting you of an issue.
