A homeowner in Ashburn, VA had a steadily progressing problem in his basement. Over the years, the walls had developed cracks and began to bow. We needed to stabilize his block foundation wall before the problem got any worse. The solution for this customer was CarbonArmor. CarbonArmor® takes advantage of the same state-of-the-art technology that the US Army Corp of Engineers, Department of Defense, and aerospace engineers use to reinforce bridges, skyscrapers, and bomb shelters- providing a long lasting solution for reinforcing and stabilizing basement walls. To install, we first coat the area with a special epoxy resin. More resin goes on top of the strap after it’s in place, and the strap is then bracketed to the joists for further security.  By utilizing the CarbonArmor system, we were able to stabilize this homeowner's basement, all without invasive excavation or a lengthy construction process.
