Photo Album: Winchester VA Crawl Space Transformation Project

This Winchester VA home had a crawl space that was having water issues which lead to excessively humid air and a musty smell in the home living areas above.  The home owners called us to help out and had our Home Performance Sales Pro Pedro come perform a full home inspection to try and find a solution.  Pedro identified that the old insulation had collected moisture over the years and started to develop mold growth.  Our production team removed the old insulation and plastic lining covering the dirt floors, then installed Terra Block floor matting, covered by a layer of Clean Space.  A sump pump was installed to discharge water out of the crawl space and then the walls were insulated with spray foam.  After the crawl space vents were all sealed to prevent outdoor air from coming in, an Ever Last door was installed to act as a proper entry way.
