Photo Album: Leesburg VA Basement Waterproofing and Sump Pump

This Leesburg VA home had unwanted water and moisture in the basement.  Most of the basement was subterranean other than the side with a door to outside.  The entrance area where the door was would often have excessive water during and after times of heavy rain.  Our Home Performance Sales Pro Matt went out to do a full home inspection and identified a solution that would not only handle any water coming into the basement but help discharge it out onto the yard and away from the home.  After agreeing to Matts project proposal, the homeowner scheduled their appointment and our Production Crew went out to perform the work.  The concrete floors were jackhammered all along the base of the basement walls and foundation to have our  Water Guard system installed.  A hole was dug out to install the new Sump Pump and discharge lines were set to send the water out of the home.  Clean Space was used to cover the walls of the basement and help send any moisture that may come through the walls down to the Water Guard system.  Access ports were placed in several locations to allow for service, cleaning and other maintenance as well as a potential drain hole for a dehumidifier if one were ever to be used in the basement.  Trench Guard was installed at the door threshold to collect and water near the entrance and allow it to move into the Water Guard system.
