Photo Album: Warrenton Virginia Crawl Space Insulation

This homeowner in Warrenton Virginia wanted to make their crawl space a safer place for storage of various items. The existing crawl space had open vents to outside allowing for uncontrolled air flow and excess humidity. The floors of the home above were often cold in the winter as well. Our team was able to remove the old insulation and properly treat the crawl space to help deliver the results the homeowner wanted. After removing the old insulation, a moisture barrier was laid across the floor, the open air vents were capped and sealed, the walls were insulated with Silver Glo panels and the rim joists of the home were insulated with spray foam. Finally, Clean Space was used to cover all of the floors and base of the walls. This space will now be dry and controlled.
