This basement in Chantilly Virginia was poorly insulated and was allowing water to leak in from outside. Our Certified Home Performance Sales Pro Pedro visited and did a free inspection before designing a project to help make the basement dry and clean with better air quality in the home. Water Guard was installed with Trench Lock at the doorway along with a new Sump Pump, Foamax wall insulation and spray Foam in the rim joists of the home. This will all lead to better water control in the basement and a more comfortable home.

The floors were opened up with a jack hammer in order to install the Water Guard system below.

The sump pump basin was set in the lowest spot in the basement and is fed by the Water Guard system collecting water from below the walls of the basement.

One installed below the floor, Waterguard is covered with fresh concrete.

Foamax insulation panels cover the walls and Water Guard below the floors delivers unwanted basement water to the new Sump Pump to be discharged out of the home.
