Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: McLean VA Crawl Space Water Solutions Project

This crawl space in McLean VA was experiencing major issues due to uncontrolled water making its way in.  Items being stored in the crawl space were damaged from water contact and the floors were collecting mud from dirt that mixed with water.  The humid space was leading to musty smells that were making way into the rooms of the home above. Signs of water were showing on the foundation walls and corrosion was showing on the HVAC ducts and metal pipes hanging from the crawl space ceiling.  Our Home Performance Sales Pro Carl went to perform and inspection for the home and found a solution that would help.  Terra Block floor matting was laid down across the crawl space floors to allow water and moisture to pass freely below a dry top layer of Clean Space.  Water Guard was installed along the base of the foundation and walls to deliver the collected water to our Triple Safe Sump Pump for discharge out of the space.  The old insulation which had been falling down from above was removed and our Production Team used material to cover and insulate the walls, controlling the water coming through and creating a more dry surface.  The humidity, moisture and musty odors were able to be diminished and the crawl space became dry and usable for safe storage.
