Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Alexandria VA Crawl Space Insulation and Floor Covering

This Alexandria VA home had a crawl space with failing insulation and moisture control issues. The homeowner called us to see about getting help with the musty odors coming from the crawl space and the cold floors they were hoping to make more comfortable. Our Home Performance Sales pro Pedro went out to visit with the homeowner and performed a full inspection of the home. Pedro was able to recommend having the crawl space issues improved with installation of our Clean Space surface covering and spray foam insulation on the walls and rim joist sections of the home. Our production team removed the old insulation, installed a layer of Terra Block matting to cover the dirt floors and then topped it with a layer of Clean Space that ran up the walls and pillars of the crawl space helping to control and water or moisture that might work into the crawl space. Sealing off the crawl space vents to outside and creating a controlled environment would help to improve the air quality and temperature of the home more effectively.
