Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

After having their room above insulated, these Aldie VA homeowners wanted to make sure that the floors were properly treated.  They decided to have the under side of the floors insulated with Spray Foam.  Accessing the crawl space below, we were able to apply Spray Foam and help to better seal up the space making it less susceptible to outdoor weather and temperatures.

The crawl space of this Bealeton, VA home had dilapidated and moldy insulation in their crawl space that had been ineffective for quite some time and was literally falling out of the ceiling. Additionally, their existing vapor barrier was loose and not sealed to the foundation, allowing moisture to creep in and wreak havoc. 

To remediate these issues, the old insulation was first removed, then disposed of safely. The 3 Pros team installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect the crawl space from excess moisture and to give it a clean new look! Closed cell spray foam was then installed from the floor up to the rim joists. 

We installed a Smart Drain in a crawl space in Louisa, VA. This will alert the homeowner in case of a plumbing leak. A plumbing leak in a crawlspace can go unnoticed for months as it saturates the earth underneath the home, causing several issues, but now these homeowners are protected. Any water that enters the space is directed towards the drain, where it enters a special ball-and-cup design. Then it is drained into a bed of gravel that allows the water to flow into a dry well and seep into the soil below.
